Biography

I am Michael Suffness, an attorney well-prepared to offer practical counsel and strong representation when you face problems ranging from a divorce or custody dispute to an unmanageable debt load or complex business decision. Based in Plano, I offer personal, attentive service to people across the spectrum of life in Collin, Dallas, and Denton County, Texas.

My education includes degrees from three prestigious institutions. I earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Duke University in 1969. I received my Juris Doctor, or law degree, from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1972, and I then earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Rutgers University in 1977.

Practicing law since 1972, I can apply my extensive experience across many legal practice areas as we work together to identify the best approach to your unique situation. Whether that challenge calls for savvy negotiation, aggressive protection of your rights in court, or simply a consultation that helps you understand the law and make confident choices, I encourage you to contact me.
